Welcome to AKA Design Ltd, we specialise in the design and construction of studio interiors, technical furniture and related services for the audio and TV industries. The design and manufacturing process is run under one roof from AKA's North London based premises. Our unrivalled knowledge of studio ergonomics and understanding of both the operators and clients needs has enabled us to supply Editing desks, grading desks and Audio furniture for the modern Broadcast and Post facilities.
We have worked with virtually all the technical equipment different manufacturers offer and have CAD templates of the various Audio desks, grading panels and mixing consoles available. Our experience of working with these different brands gives us a great understanding of the working configurations, ventilation and cable management needed to integrate these into a facility.
AKA can supply a full technical furniture package including control room furniture, composing furniture, radio desks, editing desks and Voice over desks. We can also create an individual look and feel that runs through the entire facility which can incorporate a custom reception desk, boardroom and meeting areas into the package.
